We are looking for a candidate having experience and having previous experience in quality control, preferably in the wind energy or related industry. Strong understanding of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools. Familiarity with wind turbine components, construction processes, and quality requirements.


Responsibilities


  • Conduct on-site quality inspections and checks on wind turbine components, including blades, towers, nacelles, and electrical systems.
  • Follow established quality control procedures and guidelines to assess the conformity and performance of the equipment.
  • Document and report any non-conformities or deviations from quality standards and work with the relevant teams to address and resolve them.
  • Perform visual inspections, measurements, and tests to verify the accuracy and functionality of components.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide feedback and recommendations for quality improvement.
  • Participate in quality audits and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of quality inspections and findings.
  • Assist in the implementation and monitoring of quality control programs and initiatives on the wind farm site.
  • Identify areas for process optimization and efficiency improvement in collaboration with the operations team.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to wind turbine quality control.



Qualifications


  • Experience: 3-5 Years
  • Education: Diploma or Degree Mechanical Engineer
  • Knowledge: Minimum 3 years+ in the field of (technical) bid/proposal management.
  • Ability: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Strong understanding of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools. Familiarity with wind turbine components, construction processes, and quality requirements.
  • Skill: Effective communication skills to report findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in using measurement instruments and quality testing equipment.
  • Language: English, Hindi.
