The role requires strong corporate sales expertise, strategic relationship building, and an understanding of insurance broking solutions. The AVP will work closely with internal teams, insurers, and clients to build a sustainable sales pipeline and support regional business targets.Key Responsibilities:- Achieve defined revenue targets through corporate business development- Drive customer acquisition and identify high-potential corporate clients- Conduct corporate market mapping to identify opportunities and competitive insights- Build and maintain a strong and sustainable sales pipeline- Develop and manage long-term client relationships across corporate segments- Strengthen network and engagement with insurers, TPAs, and industry partners- Represent Howden in corporate forums, client meetings, and industry platforms- Collaborate with internal teams to support regional sales performance- Ensure high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction- Promote Howdens value proposition and insurance broking solutions effectively- Support strategic sales initiatives for business growth- Ensure compliance with companys Information Security Policy and ISMS guidelines- Participate in security training, audits, and risk management processesRequired Skillsets:- Strong target-driven mindset with proven sales achievement in B2B environments- Deep understanding of corporate sales and insurance broking domain- Strong market mapping and opportunity identification skills- Excellent networking and relationship management capabilities- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills- Ability to work effectively as a team player in a collaborative environment- High adaptability, versatility, and resilience in dynamic markets- Proficiency in business communication tools and digital platforms- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities- High level of professionalism and client-first approach- Understanding of Information Security, ISO 27001, and ISMS practicesEducation & Experience:- Master's/Bachelors degree (mandatory)- Insurance qualifications preferred- 5 - 15 years of direct corporate sales experience in insurance broking (ref:iimjobs.com)
