Description :About the Role : We are seeking a motivated Application Support Specialist with experience in Third-Party Platforms (TPP) within the Insurance or Mutual Fund domain.The candidate will provide day-to-day support for critical applications, ensuring seamless operations and quick resolution of incidents.The role requires strong IT troubleshooting skills, domain understanding, and coordination with technical and business teams.Key Responsibilities : - Provide application support for TPP systems used in insurance or mutual fund operations.- Monitor system performance, identify issues, and resolve incidents to ensure minimal downtime.- Handle incident management, problem resolution, and service requests in accordance with SLAs.- Analyze transaction failures, application logs, and alerts to identify root causes.- Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and third-party vendors for issue resolution and system enhancements.- Maintain support documentation, including SOPs, incident reports, and knowledge base updates.- Assist in system upgrades, patch deployments, and configuration changes.- Communicate effectively with business users to provide updates on issue resolution and process improvements.- Participate in on-call rotations as required for critical production support.- Ensure compliance with IT policies, regulatory guidelines, and data security Skills Required : - Strong experience in application support for TPP systems in Insurance or Mutual Fund domain.- Understanding of insurance/mutual fund operations, transactions, and processing workflows.- Knowledge of incident management tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, or similar).- Familiarity with databases (SQL/Oracle) for troubleshooting and reporting.- Understanding of integration points, APIs, and third-party application interfaces.- Basic knowledge of batch processing, reporting tools, and system monitoring.- Experience in supporting web or mobile applications is a plus.Soft Skills : - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple incidents simultaneously.- Good communication and coordination skills with technical and non-technical teams.- Proactive approach to issue identification and Qualification : - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (ref:hirist.tech)
