- We are seeking an experienced Director of Competitive Intelligence and Commercial Analytics to lead strategic initiatives, drive insights, and manage a high-performing team in the life sciences domain.
- This role requires expertise in competitive intelligence, market research, and strategic decision-making, with a focus on global pharmaceutical markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute strategic initiatives.
- Lead and mentor teams across functional domains in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Build, manage, and train cross-functional teams, ensuring operational excellence.
- Provide subject matter expertise to resolve complex situations and deliver high-impact results.
- Foster innovative and best practices to maintain a high-energy, positive work environment.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to build effective relationships and ensure win-win engagement models.
- Deliver strategic solutions through innovative frameworks and actionable insights.
- Present findings and strategic recommendations to clients onsite or via teleconferences.
- Conduct in-depth analyses of competitors' strategies, market trends, and key business levers.
- Oversee P&L management, capacity planning, operations management, and recruitment.
- Drive decision-making processes in collaboration with executive leadership.
- Ensure alignment and timely delivery of client projects through efficient project management practices.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in competitive intelligence and commercial analytics, specifically in the global pharmaceutical industry.
- Expertise in competitive intelligence, analytics, market research, and strategic business assessments.
- Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to conceptualize and understand the bigger picture.
- Proven senior management client presence and exceptional communication skills.
- Knowledge of advanced analytics tools and industry-specific data sources.
- Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships, change management, and project scope within set timelines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence multi-functional teams.
- Experience in managing conflicting priorities and delivering impactful results.
- Direct exposure to the US/European pharmaceutical markets is preferred.
- Excellent people management skills, including mentoring and team development.
