We Are Hiring Description: DB Administrator (Oracle & Hana)


  • Online Interview - Shortlisting in Progress.
  • Location: Dhahran, KSA
  • Salary: 4000-5000 USD (Accommodation, Transportation provided; no Food Allowance)


Experience:

  • - 10 years of Unix Administration experience, preferably on Solaris
  • - Certified by Oracle as System Administrator
  • - Certified by Symantec for NetBackup for Unix
  • - Certified by Veritas in Cluster for Unix
  • - Good knowledge of UNIX systems


Skills and Qualifications:

  • - Extensive exposure to SAP Learning Solution, SAP Enterprise Compensation Management, and SAP e-Recruiting
  • - Strong experience in functional specification writing and understanding complex user requirements
  • - Expertise in SAP HR Functional configurations, especially on PA/PY and TM
  • - Ability to implement business requirements and perform fit gap analysis between clients
  • - Proficient in Rules (PCR) and Schemas
  • - Experience in structural and functional enhancements to data sources with user-exits for master data
  • - Defined attendance/absence types, counting rules, and time constraint settings
  • - Created rules for Overtime calculations on daily, weekly, and biweekly basis
  • - Developed custom defined PCR's for absence and attendance wage type generation through time evaluation


Responsibilities:

  • - Manage and maintain Oracle and Hana databases
  • - Monitor database performance and ensure optimal uptime and availability
  • - Perform database backups, restores, and recovery operations
  • - Install, configure, and upgrade database software and related tools
  • - Troubleshoot database issues and coordinate with vendors for technical support
  • - Implement security measures to protect database systems from unauthorized access
  • - Collaborate with development teams for database design and optimization
  • - Document database processes, procedures, and configurations
  • - Stay updated with latest database technologies and industry trends


Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field


Years of Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in database administration and SAP HR Functional configurations.


Certifications/Training:

  • Certified by Oracle as System Administrator, by Symantec for NetBackup for Unix, and by Veritas in Cluster for Unix.
