Role Overview :

As an AWS DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines on AWS.

You will work closely with software development teams to streamline the software delivery process and ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud-based applications.

Additionally, you will be responsible for automating infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment tasks using Kubernetes, Terraform, and scripting languages.

Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins Pipeline with Python scripting to automate the build, test, and deployment process.

- Manage AWS infrastructure and services, including VPC, EC2, IAM, Lambda, Aurora, DynamoDB, and API Gateway, to support the development and deployment of cloud-native applications.

- Implement serverless architectures and services using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and other AWS serverless technologies.

- Configure and manage Kubernetes clusters for containerized workloads, including deployment, scaling, and monitoring.

- Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) templates using Terraform to provision and manage AWS resources in a repeatable and automated manner.

- Write and maintain scripts in Python and Shell to automate routine tasks, troubleshoot issues, and perform system administration tasks.

- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize AWS infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for performance, cost, and security.

- Implement security controls and best practices to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data stored in AWS services.

- Collaborate with software development teams to define infrastructure requirements and best practices for deploying and running applications on AWS.

- Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in DevOps, cloud computing, and automation to continuously improve our development and deployment processes.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- 5-8 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a focus on AWS cloud infrastructure and CI/CD automation.

- Strong experience with Jenkins Pipeline and Python scripting for building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

- In-depth knowledge of AWS services and architectures, including VPC, EC2, IAM, Lambda, Aurora, DynamoDB, and API Gateway.

- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration and management.

- Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform for provisioning and managing AWS resources.

- Experience with scripting languages such as Python and Shell for automating tasks and system administration.

- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, and ELK stack.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a distributed system.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Kubernetes Administrator are preferred.
