Proven track record in securing funding from Erasmus+, UNESCO, World Bank, or similar agencies.
Role and Responsibilities for International Research and Project Funding Specialist :
Monitor and disseminate funding opportunities from international organizations, including Erasmus+, UNESCO, World Bank or other International grant bodies educational programs.
Develop a database of international funding sources and grant calls specific to education and research collaboration.
Identify emerging funding trends and align opportunities with institutional priorities.
Assist faculty and researchers in drafting and submitting high-quality proposals to international funding agencies.
Provide detailed guidance on eligibility, requirements, and priorities for programs such as Erasmus+ (Key Actions 1-3), UNESCO's Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) initiatives, World Bank and other grants for education innovation.
Review proposals for technical quality, compliance, and alignment with funder and institutional goals.
Collaborate with finance and administrative teams to prepare detailed project budgets in line with funding guidelines.
Establish and nurture partnerships with universities, research institutions, and international organizations for joint research and educational initiatives.
Support the development of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) and agreements with international partners.
Represent the institution at international conferences, workshops, and events to strengthen global visibility and networks.
Oversee the management of awarded grants, ensuring compliance with funding agency regulations and reporting requirements.
Track project milestones, deliverables, and budgets to ensure successful implementation of funded initiatives.
Act as the primary liaison between funding agencies, project teams, and institutional leadership.
Role and Responsibilities for Global Engagement and Outreach Coordinator :
Build and maintain relationships with international universities, research institutions, government agencies, and NGOs.
Coordinate international partnership agreements (e.g., Memorandums of Understanding) to foster collaboration in education, research, and cultural exchange.
Facilitate opportunities for international student and faculty mobility programs, including exchanges and joint degree initiatives.
Plan and organize international engagement events, including conferences, webinars, cultural festivals, and delegation visits.
Develop marketing materials, presentations, and communication strategies to support global outreach campaigns.
Support international students and visiting faculty with orientation programs, cultural adaptation resources, and logistical assistance.
Facilitate outbound mobility for domestic students and faculty, providing guidance on international opportunities and funding options.
Serve as a point of contact for queries related to international programs and collaborations.
Assist in the development and implementation of international programs aligned with the institution's strategic goals.
Collaborate with academic departments to design and promote global learning opportunities, such as study-abroad programs, internships, and research collaborations.
Monitor and evaluate the impact of international programs and partnerships to ensure continuous improvement.
Leverage LinkedIn and other professional platforms to connect with global partners, promote institutional achievements, and share engagement opportunities.
Skills Required:
Deep understanding of international funding mechanisms, including Erasmus+ Key Actions, UNESCO's initiatives, and World Bank grant structures.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for proposal development and stakeholder engagement.
Strong skills in budgeting, project planning, and financial management for international grants. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with global stakeholders and diverse teams.
High proficiency in grant application platforms and research administration tools.
