Job Overview:


We are looking for an experienced PHP Developer with 5-6 years of hands-on expertise in developing, maintaining, and enhancing web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in WordPress development, PHP frameworks like Laravel or CodeIgniter, and a solid understanding of modern web technologies. The candidate will play a critical role in delivering scalable and optimized solutions for our dynamic projects.


Key Responsibilities:

WordPress Development:

  • Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins as per project requirements.
  • Optimize WordPress websites for performance, security, and scalability.
  • Debug and resolve technical issues in existing WordPress implementations.
  • Ensure compatibility with various browsers, platforms, and devices.


PHP Framework Development:

  • Build and maintain web applications using frameworks like Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Symfony.
  • Create RESTful APIs and integrate third-party APIs as needed.
  • Write clean, modular, and well-documented code.


Frontend and Backend Integration:

  • Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Work with JavaScript libraries like jQuery, React, or Vue.js (optional).


Database Management:

  • Design and optimize database structures (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Develop efficient database queries and procedures.


Testing and Debugging:

  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality code delivery.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks.


Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.


Documentation and Maintenance:

  • Prepare technical documentation for projects.
  • Maintain and enhance existing applications by identifying areas for improvement.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Expertise:

  • Strong proficiency in PHP and WordPress development.Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Symfony.
  • Proficiency in MySQL or PostgreSQL and database optimization techniques.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.


Problem Solving:

  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to write efficient, secure, and reusable code.


Additional Skills:

  • Knowledge of WooCommerce, ACF, and Elementor is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is desirable.
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles.


Experience:

  • 5-6 years of professional experience in PHP development.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.


Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Certification in PHP development or WordPress development is a plus.
