Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Data Migration Lead to own and drive the end-to-end data migration strategy for enterprise systems. This role is critical in planning, coordinating, and delivering successful migrations from legacy platforms to new systems, ensuring data integrity, quality, compliance, and minimal business disruption.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define overall data migration strategy, scope, and roadmap in alignment with program objectives.

- Collaborate with business, IT, and external partners to capture requirements, mapping rules, and transformation logic.

- Identify data sources and assess readiness, quality, and risks.

2. Execution & Delivery :

- Lead end-to-end execution of ETL activities (extraction, transformation, loading, validation, reconciliation).

- Manage migration of master data, transactional data, and historical records.

- Coordinate with functional and technical teams to validate data accuracy in the target platform.

- Implement automated and repeatable migration processes.

3. Data Quality & Governance :

- Define and enforce data quality rules and validation standards.

- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory/audit requirements.

- Manage data reconciliation, defect tracking, and issue resolution.

4. Stakeholder Management :

- Act as the primary contact for migration-related discussions.

- Collaborate with program managers, technical teams, and business stakeholders.

- Provide clear communication of risks, issues, and status updates.

5. Documentation & Support :

- Maintain migration strategy, technical design, and validation documentation.

- Provide post-migration support to ensure business continuity.

Required Qualifications :

- 10+ years of experience in data migration, data integration, or data management roles.

- Proven experience leading at least one full-cycle data migration for ERP, HCM, or CRM implementations.

- Strong background with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, BAAN, or equivalent.

- Hands-on experience with data migration tools and ETL technologies.

- Strong understanding of data modelling, MDM (Master Data Management), and data governance.

- Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.

- Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills.
