Build and optimize algorithms for: Facial recognition Object detection & tracking People counting Activity recognition Video analytics pipelines Implement and fine-tuneSLMs/LLMs , including: Vision-language systems Prompt engineering Embedding-based retrieval Model integration into product workflows Develop Python-based production AI modules using OpenCV, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, etc. Perform data preprocessing, feature extraction, and model evaluation. Collaborate closely with software & product teams to integrate AI modules into live systems. Research state-of-the-art advancements inVision AI ,Generative AI ,Transformer models , andmultimodal AI . Optimize models for edge devices and server deployments.Required Skills & Expertise Core Technical Skills4–5 yearsof hands-on experience in AI/ML engineering. Strong expertise inComputer Vision & Pattern Recognition . Advanced programming skills inPythonand libraries: OpenCV, NumPy, SciPy, scikit-learn. Proficiency inDeep Learning(CNNs, RNNs, Autoencoders, Transformers).SLM/LLM ExpertisePractical experience withSmall Language Models (SLMs)andLarge Language Models (LLMs) . Hands-on with: LLaMA, GPT, Mistral, Gemma, Claude, or similar models Vision-Language or Multimodal models (e.g., CLIP, BLIP, SAM, OpenAI Vision models) Fine-tuning, LoRA, prompt engineering Building retrieval-augmented systems Understanding of embeddings, semantic search, and vector databases is a plus.Analytical & ML SkillsStrong foundation inStatistics, Data Analysis , and predictive modeling. Experience building and integrating real-time inference pipelines.Additional SkillsStrong software engineering fundamentals. Ability to write clean, modular, production-grade code. Experience with Docker, REST APIs, or microservices is an added benefit.Eligibility RequirementsMust be located withincommutable distance to Chennai (Tamil Nadu) .
