Excelya is currently seeking for a qualified candidate for the position of Oracle Programmer I based in Bengaluru, India. We provide a full time opportunity and hybrid working model. The Oracle Programmer is responsible for providing Oracle Programming input for Data Management activities dedicated to one Sponsor. They are responsible for ensuring that all clinical programming aspects per Client’s SOPs are delivered to high quality.


General Responsibilities/Tasks:


  • Deeply acknowledges and strictly follows applicable Excelya and Client’s SOPs.
  • Work closely with the Data Manager (India), Lead Data Manager, Principal Programmer responsible for the study.
  • Responsible for programming using Oracle tools (DMW, LSH)
  • Able to design the Raw/Stable data model in DMW according to sponsor standards by flowing the specifications.
  • Good understanding of SDTM and Data set generations as per the specifications in DMW.
  • Responsible for setting up for external data vendors integration from specifications in DMW.
  • Responsible for Transformation mapping as per the specifications.
  • Responsible for managing external data loading and integrations in DMW.
  • Responsible for all internal QC activity for the deliverables before the actual UAT
  • Responsible for VC/PD programming in DMW
  • Able to archive Data Management programming documentation.
  • Able to complete Excelya administrative tasks as required e.g., timesheets/timecards, Follow Up documents, CV, and assigned trainings or training updates. Need to maintain compliance to the customer training.
  • Actively involved in undertaking other tasks as they may be assigned from the supervisor that will concern any of the Excelya Group companies.
  • Able to delivering the allocated task on a timely manner with quality


Requirements:


  • Holds a BA degree qualification in a Scientific discipline is preferred.
  • 1-3 years working experience as an Oracle Programmer or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Good understanding of Oracle DMW tool and study build as per the specifications.
  • Experience with programming languages, such as PL/SQL, JAVA SCRIPT.
  • Knowledge of OAC (Oracle analytic tool) will be a plus.
  • Knowledge and understanding of ICH GCP and other relevant ICH, EU or FDA guidelines to maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Understanding of Clinical trial process and Data management activities
  • Proficient in computer technology used in an office environment (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, etc.).
  • Ability to maintains high level of professionalism, ethics and compliance at all times.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing multiple priorities in a highly dynamic environment.
  • Experience in working in a matrix-structured environment would be considered plus.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fluent in local language and English (written and spoken).
