Role Description for Jr Electrical Design Engineer

This is a full-time role for an Electrical Design Engineer at Elegrow Technology. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing electrical systems which Include Engineering Design Calculation, conducting Software Simulation and analyses, and Preparation of Drawings and Models Which use for Different Purpose. You will collaborate with other stakeholders such as EPC companies, vendors, and contractors to achieve common goals of system efficiency and reliability.


This is a hybrid role, with the primary location in Surat but flexibility for some remote work from Depending on the Level of Skills, Competency and Commitment.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop the Electrical Systems for Different Industrial Sectors, Which Including Study of Policy, Regulation, Standards, Apply the Same During Preparation of Design Deliverables.
  • Perform System Studies and Simulations Along with the Report Writing to Ensure Compliance with Industry Standards and Project requirements.
  • Produce Detailed Electrical Schematics, Single Line Diagrams, Wiring Diagrams, Layout and Others Drawings, Etc.
  • Ensure Designs conform to relevant electrical engineering standards and codes (e.g., IEC, IEEE, NEC).
  • Stay informed about the latest industry standards and integrate them into the design processes.
  • Utilize advanced engineering design software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, XGSLabs, PVSyst and other relevant tools to create precise and efficient designs.
  • Employ drafting and modeling software to generate detailed 3D models and technical drawings at Every Stage of the Projects for the Different Purpose.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including mechanical and civil engineers, to integrate electrical systems into comprehensive project designs.
  • Assist in preparing technical documentation and reports for project proposals and submissions.
  • Conduct thorough design reviews and verification processes to ensure accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities to uphold high standards in design deliverables.
  • Provide technical support during the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting phases of projects.
  • Assist in resolving technical issues and implementing design modifications as needed.


Qualifications

  • Master's / Bachelor's in Power System / Electrical Engineering


Experience


  • 1-3 years of experience in electrical system design.
  • Hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas: large-scale solar power plants, chemical plants, oil & gas plants, switchyards, or substations.
  • Experience in designing electrical systems for industrial projects.
  • Understanding of renewable energy systems, particularly solar plant design.


Professional Qualifications


  • Proficiency in Auto CAD and ETAP.
  • Familiarity and Experience with drafting and modeling.
  • Knowledge of engineering design standards and codes (e.g., IEC, IEEE, NEC).
