Power BI Developer

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead a team of BI developers in designing, developing, and implementing Power BI solutions.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements for BI projects.

- Design and develop Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models to provide insightful business analytics.

- Optimize Power BI reports and dashboards for performance and usability.

- Mentor and coach junior team members to enhance their skills in Power BI and related technologies.

- Stay updated with the latest advancements in Power BI and related technologies, and recommend best practices to the team.

- Collaborate with database designers and administrators to ensure seamless integration of Power BI solutions with existing data infrastructure.

- Perform data analysis and troubleshoot issues as needed.

- Ensure compliance with data security and governance policies.

Skills Required :


Mandatory Tech Skills :

- Proficiency in Power BI and its various components.

- Strong understanding of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and experience in using DAX functions.

- Familiarity with DAX Studio for advanced performance tuning and analysis.

- Solid SQL skills, including writing complex queries and optimizing database performance.

- Experience in creating and maintaining stored procedures.

- Knowledge of database design principles.

- Familiarity with XML and JSON data formats.

Additional Skills (Preferred) :

- Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau or QlikView.

- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.

- Experience with data integration tools and techniques.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- Proven experience of 5+ years in the field of Business Intelligence and Analytics.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
