Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Extend Consultant to join a leading Energy Company based in Texas on a remote basis. he successful candidate will play a critical role in developing and extending custom applications on the Workday platform, driving innovation and enhanced functionality across the company’s HR and financial systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement custom applications using Workday Extend to meet the company’s unique business requirements.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including HR, Finance, and IT, to gather requirements and translate them into functional solutions within Workday.
• Customize and extend Workday's core functionality by building user-friendly applications that integrate seamlessly with Workday's ecosystem.
• Work on Workday Extend tools, including UI customization, API development, and enhanced business processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to Workday Extend applications, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Provide guidance on best practices in Workday Extend development, architecture, and security to optimize custom solutions.
• Manage system upgrades and enhancements, ensuring custom applications remain compatible with new Workday releases.
• Assist with Workday reporting, data integration, and additional Workday module implementations as required.

Required Skills and Experience

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Workday Extend and developing custom applications within the Workday platform.
• Strong proficiency in Workday Studio, Workday Integration Cloud, and Workday Web Services (WWS).
• Familiarity with API development, SOAP, and RESTful services for integrating third-party systems with Workday.
• Proven experience in UI/UX design within Workday applications, along with knowledge of data structures and business logic within the Workday ecosystem.
• Ability to develop scalable, secure, and user-centric applications that address specific business challenges.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, with experience troubleshooting technical issues in custom application development.
• Experience working in the energy sector is a plus, but not required.
