This position supports and transforms existing and new mission-critical and highly visible operational website(s) and applications - spanning multiple technology stacks - through all phases of SDLC, while working collaboratively across IT, business, and third-party suppliers from around the globe in a 24x7, fast-paced, and Agile-based environment.ResponsibilitiesTranslate business needs into technical requirementsDesign microservices and container-based solutionsBuild and deploy applications on Azure using services like Azure Functions, App Services, Event Hub, Service Bus, and Cosmos DBIntroduce new technologies and best practices as needed to solve business problemsMandatory SkillsMinimum of 6 years of development experienceKnowledge of one or more high-level managed frameworks (C#/.NET/.NET Core)Strong experience in MVC, Entity FrameworkExperience creating RESTful and SOAP-based services and APIsExperience in container-based developmentKnowledge of RESTful and SOAP APIsKnowledge of NoSQL databaseAwareness of PaaS offerings in Public cloud and OrchestratorsAbility to adopt and embrace new technologyExperience in designing and building distributed and asynchronous systemsFamiliarity with Public cloud (Azure) and private cloud IaaS and PaaS platformsExperience with Microservices architectureExperience in working in Agile and DevOps environmentExperience in Azure functions, event hub, service bus implementation.Experience in Azure App services.Knowledge of Azure .NET SDK & Application Insights Query and Configuration.Knowledge of Azure Cosmos DB, API management.Nice-to-Have SkillsMCSE or other Microsoft certifications and Azure Certifications a plusKnowledge of Azure pipelines is an added advantage.
