Job Title: Assistant Professor / Associate Professor / Professor


Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching: Conduct undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in Visual Communication, including but not limited to subjects like Graphic Design, Photography, Multimedia, Animation, Film Studies, and Advertising.
  • Curriculum Development: Design and update course syllabi, instructional materials, and assessments that align with the latest industry trends and educational standards.
  • Student Mentorship: Guide and mentor students in their academic and creative pursuits, providing feedback on projects, and advising on career opportunities.
  • Research and Scholarship: Engage in research activities, publish papers in peer-reviewed journals, and participate in conferences and seminars to stay updated with advancements in the field.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues in the department and across disciplines to foster a collaborative and interdisciplinary learning environment.
  • Departmental Duties: Participate in department meetings, curriculum reviews, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the program.
  • Community Engagement: Involve in community outreach programs, workshops, and exhibitions to enhance the department's visibility and reputation.
  • Administrative Responsibilities: Assist in the organization of departmental events, guest lectures, and other academic activities.


Qualifications:

  • Education: B.Sc & M.Sc in Visual Communication, Media Studies, or a related field with Ph.D. or NET /SET
  • Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience at the college/university level. Industry experience in visual communication, design, or media production is a plus.
  • Skills: Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite), strong visual and written communication skills, and a solid understanding of contemporary media practices.
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing creative work in relevant fields (e.g., graphic design, photography, multimedia) is required.
