Job Description:

- We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as the General Manager Process Safety.

- The ideal candidate will have a background in chemical engineering and significant experience in the chemical industry, with a primary focus on process safety management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive process safety management program to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

- Conduct process hazard analyses (PHA), risk assessments, and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards in the manufacturing processes.

- Provide leadership and guidance to the process safety team to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that process safety considerations are integrated into all phases of project planning and execution.

- Review and update operating procedures, emergency response plans, and training programs to enhance process safety performance.

- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to process safety and develop strategies to achieve and maintain high levels of safety performance.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies, internal stakeholders, and external partners on process safety-related matters.

- Stay current on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes related to process safety to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:.

- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.

- Minimum of 17 years of experience in process safety management within the chemical industry.

- Proven track record of successfully leading process safety initiatives and driving a culture of safety excellence.

- Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and standards (e. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

- Certification in process safety (e. Location and Reporting:.
