Job Description:To maintain the production machinery ( ATFL assets ) at the factories to ensure smooth and error free operation and production of ATFL products.To establish ATFL standards of operation at units as per HACCP normsTo trainthe operators (JPAs) to take independent charge and run operationsTo execute the erection & commissioning of machineries at Factories as required by businessPRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:Maintenance of machinery-- Planning of preventive maintenance - Training operators for production associates - Ensuring regular supply of Spares for machinery through interaction with Purchase - Interaction with Machine suppliers to ensure upkeep of machines - Complaint handling of machine breakdown, both onsite and over the phone - Rated production from Machines - Completion of monthly targets - Reduction in machinery downtime - R&M (Repair and Maintenance)expenses within agreed budget.Installation of new machinery- Executeinstallation and commissioning of new machineries. - Upgradation of existing machineryStandard at units as per SQF- Establish ATFL operating standards at units as per SQF requirements - Educate staff on SQF standards and their applicationAssist RQI in drafting maintenance manual with unit particularsProduct / Process development- Assist RQI in new Product & process developmentMachine capability trialResponsible for increasing the efficiency of plants by using new processes and machines in order to reduce the cost per unitImplement the execution of the project as advised by the Management to bring down the cost per unitEducational Qualifications:Qualification in Mechanical/Electrical to understand the production machineryFunctional Skills:- Technical skill - Flexibility with multi –skilling to handle maintenance & operation if required - Interpersonal skills to interact with people of various types, external & internal - Seeking support from management - Good communication skills to negotiate wit external vendors/ machine or spare parts suppliersRelevant and total years of Experience:- Total: 03 years minimum - Relevant: 1 -2 years
