Test Automation Lead


Job Description :


As a Test Automation Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications through automated testing. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, maintaining, and monitoring the execution of automated tests. You'll collaborate closely with Quality Analysts to assess test coverage and triage test failures. Additionally, you'll work with a distributed global team of engineers who are also focused on test automation.

Duties and Responsibilities :
  • Develop Test Automation Strategy: Create a comprehensive test automation strategy for large, complex projects using AGILE methodology.
  • Design and Execute Automation Tests: Utilize tools such as HP QTP, Selenium, and Cucumber to design, create, and execute automation test cases for API web services.
  • Agile Planning and Backlog Management: Contribute to team agile planning activities and prioritize backlog items.
  • Bug Identification and Reporting: Identify, verify, report, and regress bugs.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with product line stakeholders to understand their emerging demands and develop relevant strategies and frameworks.
  • Drive Innovation and Adoption: Investigate and institutionalize new tools, methods, and standards to enhance industry practices.
