About the CompanyRRSB Forex, founded 104 years ago, is India's oldest foreign exchange services company, holding an authorized dealer category II license from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).With 19 branches across major Indian cities, we provide a wide range of forex services including currency notes for over 20 countries, traveler's cheques, travel prepaid cards, foreign currency drafts, and wire transfers.Our services cater to personal travel, business travel, higher studies, employment abroad, medical treatment, and emigration.Role OverviewAs a Branch Manager, you will be responsible for leading branch operations, ensuring compliance with RBI regulations, achieving business targets, providing excellent customer service, and managing the branch team.You will play a critical role in driving growth, maintaining operational efficiency, and delivering a superior customer experience.Key Responsibilities / KRAs- Manage daily branch operations ensuring smooth workflow and high service quality- Lead, coach, and supervise branch staff to achieve performance and productivity targets- Drive revenue growth through cross-selling forex products and increasing customer footfall- Ensure strict compliance with RBI regulations, internal controls, and audit standards- Deliver excellent customer service, resolve customer issues, and manage escalations effectively- Monitor cash handling, forex transactions, and risk management processes- Prepare regular reports on branch performance, financials, and compliance- Analyze market trends and customer needs to recommend appropriate services and products- Maintain proper records of forex transactions, customer documentation, and reports- Control operating costs and maintain profitability targets- Foster strong relationships with customers to build trust and encourage repeat business- Coordinate with central office and other departments for operational support- Conduct periodic training sessions for branch staff on product knowledge and complianceSkillsets Required- Proven experience (3-5 years) in managing a financial services or forex branch- Good understanding of foreign exchange services, RBI guidelines, and compliance requirements- Strong customer relationship management and interpersonal skills- Target-driven with the ability to develop business and achieve sales objectives- Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities- Ability to manage cash operations and forex transactions accurately- Good knowledge of risk management and audit processes- Strong communication and presentation skills- Proficiency in MS Office and basic banking/forex software- Leadership and team management skills- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial and operational dataEducational Qualification- Master's/Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Commerce, or a related field- Additional certifications in banking, finance, or forex are a plus (ref:iimjobs.com)
