Description : PCSM DeveloperRole Overview : The PCSM Developer is a specialized engineering role based in Bangalore, requiring 3-8 years of experience with a core focus on developing, deploying, and supporting solutions built on the PowerCurve Strategy Manager (PCSM) platform and related components (PCO/PCC).This position demands a blend of strong Java development expertise, cloud deployment skills (specifically AWS E1 Cloud and Kubernetes), and deep functional knowledge of the Lending Domain to build and maintain mission-critical risk and decision-making applications.The incumbent will be responsible for translating complex business requirements into high-quality, scalable solutions and providing expert-level support for production systems.Core Technical Responsibilities and Deliverables : - PCSM/PCO Application Development : Utilize 2-4 years of experience in designing, coding, deploying, and supporting applications within the PowerCurve Strategy Manager (PCSM), PowerCurve Origination (PCO), and PowerCurve Collections (PCC) ecosystems.- Strategy and Policy Implementation : Possess a good PCSM/PCO understanding of the process to modify/create policies on PowerCurve, translating risk strategies and credit rules into executable decision logic and workflows within the platform.- Core Language Proficiency : Demonstrate strong proficiency in Java concepts including Collections, Multi-Threading, JDBC, and File Handling, applying these skills to develop robust backend services and integration layers.- Front-End/Scripting : Experience in development using JavaScript/text script for customized application logic and interfaces within the PowerCurve environment.- Cloud Architecture and Deployment : Demonstrate good knowledge of AWS E1 Cloud, specifically hands-on experience with Kubernetes for Blueprint/Environment setup, deployment orchestration, and management of scalable application infrastructure.- Data and Integration : Implement data solutions using SQL basic knowledge and possess expertise in integrating diverse applications using strong proficiency in web services like SOAP UI and RESTFUL protocols.- Solution Design and Requirement Analysis : Work with the Clients (IT and Business teams) to thoroughly understand business requirements from a functional perspective and design and build a robust, production-ready solution that meets those needs.Production Support and Problem Solving : - System Troubleshooting and Performance Tuning : Apply expertise in troubleshooting and performance tuning techniques to identify and resolve bottlenecks in PCSM/PCO applications and underlying infrastructure.- Incident Resolution : Possess the ability to work on production issues and problems with a high sense of urgency, ensuring a quick and quality resolution to minimize business impact and maintain system availability.- Analytical Capability : Utilize Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities to debug complex transactional errors, data integrity issues, and policy execution failures.Required Experience and Skills : - Platform Experience : Minimum 2-4 years of direct development, deployment, and support experience on Experian PowerCurve Strategy Manager (PCSM), PCO, or PCC.- Domain Expertise : Expert in the lending domain, with deep functional knowledge of credit risk management, loan origination processes, or collections strategies.- Programming : Strong proficiency in Java and JavaScript/text script.- Cloud and DevOps : Knowledge of AWS E1 Cloud, Kubernetes, and modern deployment practices.- APIs and Databases : Strong knowledge of SOAP and RESTFUL web services and basic SQL.- Communication : Good communication skills for client interaction, requirements gathering, and technical collaboration.Preferred Skills : - Experience with EODS (Experian One Data Solutions) development.- Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for PowerCurve applications.- Knowledge of other relational or NoSQL database systems beyond basic SQL.- Experience with performance monitoring tools for JVM and application analysis.
