Job Description :

Technical Delivery Manager will be responsible for delivery of the development, quality, and timely delivery of the project.

Provide leadership and guidance to the Implementation technical team and assist in the continuous improvement of the processes and tools that are leveraged to deliver an efficient and high-quality implementation experience to our customers.

Will be the critical bridge between technical team (lead by Technical Delivery Manager) and the Implementation team.

Experience : 15+ years

Responsibilities :

- Ensure delivery processes are efficient and cost effective.

- Plan & collaborate across different application teams to manage technical dependencies of the solution.

- Manage set of Customer projects with end-to-end project management responsibility including - planning, scope, requirements, schedule, communication, risk, and budget.

- Manage team of Development and QA team members.

Provide oversight and support to Implementation team and monitor the portfolio of projects to ensure achievement of performance goals.

- Partner with Architects and Development Lead to ensure solution design complies with enterprise design principles, security and control standards.

- Partner with Development Manager in managing application teams to build the enhancements.

- Partner with Test Manager to ensure completion of System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), performance / load testing and application security testing with quality results.

- Work with Implementation Management team in gathering and documenting product requirements and communicate / facilitate the same with technical team.

- Manage technical implementation plan across application teams - coordinate technical implementation activities across application teams to ensure non- event production cutover and adequate post implementation support.

- Accountable and responsible for complete product implementation and support operations.

- Escalate issues that impacts project schedule on timely basis and propose workarounds/resolutions.

- Be the single point of contact representing technical team from project kick- off through closure.

- Develop and communicate project performance and report to internal stakeholders.

- Ensure actions and key deliverables are met and are kept within the defined scope.

- Be the first point of escalation for technical issues and resolve issues working with stakeholders.

Job Description :

Technical skills :

- Strong technical knowledge with at least 10+ years of experience in Java.

- Good understanding in web technologies like HTML5, Java Script, CSS, Angular etc.

- More than 7 years track record in developing and delivering global/regional IT capabilities for a multi-national/regional company with annual budgetary responsibility.

- Experience in communicating with technical stakeholders.

- Experience in implementing large-scale, highly available applications or other large project implementation.

- Experience in service-oriented technologies.

- Proven result-oriented person with a focus on delivery.

- Experience in actual systems development work, with prior coding, functional specifications and technical specifications and systems development and testing experience (in aggregate no less than 8 years).

- Good understanding and experience in software development cycle.

- Highly effective communicating with technical stakeholders, proficient communicating with non-technical stakeholders.

- Good problem solving, analytical, synthesis, system thinking and solutioning skills.

- Hands on Project and Program management experience for 5 to 8 years.

- Proven track record in delivering complex software product implementations for high profile clients.

- Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and deliver multiple projects simultaneously.

- Excellent communication and relationship skills.

- PMI / Scrum certifications will be an added advantage.

Mandatory skills :

- Overall 15+ years of good technical experience in Java, Angular, and open-source projects.

- Strong understanding of SDLC and Architecture.

- Extensive background in development and delivering complex projects throughout the lifecycle.

- Delivery Management objectives in Onshore & Offshore Model for multiple clients across the globe.

- Project planning and progress monitoring, including budget control and milestone control.

- Creative problem solver, able to build contingency plans and handle stressful situation with professionalism.

- Provide leadership and direction to the Delivery teams.

Handle Operational issues related to the delivery centre.

- Provide technical support and participate in the change control process.

- Become the Single point of contact for delivery and act as an advocate between the Service Delivery and the Customer.

- Drive and coordinate crisis management.

- Strong negotiation and presentation skills.

- Understanding of Agile methodologies.

- Must have great customer facing skills and customer relationship management skills

- Must have the acumen and skills to work with the Customer, learn from our customers and help AO and our customer for growth and value additions

- Play a advocacy role between customers, AO exec team for sustaining long standing relationship for collective growth

Education :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or similar domain

- Professional/technical qualification will be advantageous.
