Job Description : Lead Software Engineer (Python, Flask, and Java).

Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Software Engineer with strong expertise in Python and experience in Java to lead the design and development of scalable applications. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in backend and frontend development, with hands-on experience in Flask, Spring Boot (good to have), and modern frontend frameworks like React and Angular.

This role requires strong leadership abilities, technical excellence, and a passion for driving innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Team Leadership :

- Lead and mentor a team of developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.

- Ensure adherence to coding standards, best engineering practices, and project timelines.

Backend Development :

- Architect, design, and develop scalable backend services using Python (Flask).

- Good to have experience in Java (Spring Boot) for cross-functional backend development.

- Define and implement robust API integration standards, focusing on security, performance, and scalability.

Frontend Development :

- Oversee frontend development using React and Angular, ensuring seamless integration with backend APIs.

- Guide the team in writing efficient, maintainable, and testable frontend code.

Code Quality & Performance :

- Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot bugs, and identify areas for performance improvement.

- Implement best practices for version control, automated testing, and continuous deployment.

Cloud Deployment & Infrastructure :

- Deploy, monitor, and optimize applications on AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, etc.)

- Develop infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform or similar tools.

Technical Strategy & R&D :

- Spearhead R&D initiatives to evaluate and integrate new technologies and frameworks.

- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to align technical decisions with business objectives.

Agile Methodologies :

- Drive agile development practices, including efficient sprint planning and execution.

- Promote a DevOps culture with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.

Testing & Automation :

- Establish automated testing strategies to enhance software reliability and maintainability.

- Monitor production issues and ensure rapid resolution of system errors.

Key Skills & Qualifications : .

- Proven leadership experience in managing development teams and projects.

- Expertise in backend development with Python (Flask) and good to have Java (Spring Boot).

- Strong frontend development skills in React and Angular.

- Deep understanding of Java fundamentals, object-oriented programming, and design patterns.

- Hands-on experience in API development, integration, and testing (RESTful and GraphQL).

- Experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda) and cloud deployments.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make critical technical decisions.

- Ability to lead R&D initiatives, identifying and implementing innovative solutions.

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and infrastructure automation is a plus.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have :

- Experience with microservices architecture.

- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

- Exposure to serverless computing and cloud-native solutions.

- Knowledge of infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
