Job Overview:


We are seeking a Faculty (Big Data ) for our China location, who will be an integral part of NIIT, contributing to educational excellence by providing instruction in Colleges and Universities. As a Big Data Faculty member, you will play a pivotal role in our educational initiatives within Colleges and Universities. Your responsibilities will encompass delivering high-quality Big Data courses and training sessions, equipping students with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in the dynamic world of software development


Job Description:


The role involves instructing IT courses for Year-1 to Year-4 students in the Software Engineering program, adhering to the established NIIT curriculum and methodology. Ensuring the satisfaction of all stakeholders including the university, students, and NIIT is essential. Additionally, active involvement in curriculum design, customer relationship management, and student support are key aspects of the position.



Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Conducting software training at various NIC locations or any other NIIT cooperation
  • Prepare well for technical curriculum based on the requirement in alignment with NIIT Delivery methodologies
  • Adherence to the delivery plan in order to achieve performance-driven targets
  • Actively contribute in preparing or upgrading existing courses
  • Prepare or upgrade existing learning resources such as software problem statements, a question bank
  • Guiding students to uplift performance level and win programming contest
  • Actively involved in various team initiatives directed toward quality improvements
  • Individual contributor and inclusive team player
  • Collaborate and have a good relationship with the Client and the students



Mandatory Skills

  • Master's degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields;
  • At least 5 years of work experience in the field of big data;
  • Proficiency in the Hadoop ecosystem, including HDFS, HBase, Hive, etc., with practical experience;
  • Proficient in stream processing technologies such as Hadoop、HBase、Spark, Hive, and with practical project experience;
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Java and Python, and able to teach the basics and advanced concepts of these languages;
  • Familiar with relational databases such as MySQL, and understanding of database design, optimization, and management;
  • Familiar with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and able to teach related courses;
  • Good English communication skills, able to use English as the working language for teaching;
  • Prior teaching experience, especially in higher education institutions, is preferred;
  • Good team spirit, able to effectively communicate with colleagues and clients from different backgrounds;
  • Experience in course development, able to continuously update and improve course content based on market demand and student feedback;
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment, with excellent time management and task prioritization skills.



Note - Candidate have to relocate to China for this role. NIIT will provide visas, tickets, Medical and accommodation.
