DevOps Manager

Skills Required:

  • Minimum 9 years of experience with 3 years or more experience working in DevOps CI/CD environment including end-to-end pipeline development from source control, artifact generation and storage, automated provisioning, monitoring.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, certification also preferred.
  • Hands on experience in Kubernetes with EKS/OKS/AKS or similar technologies preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of programming languages such as Python and Java, and writing code and scripts like shell script, groovy.
  • Application knowledge especially on Spring Boot based Java microservices is good to have.
  • Good team player abilities.


Must Have:

  • Strong infrastructure design and networking/troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience and certification in at least one Cloud Infrastructure Service (AWS, OCI, Azure, GCP).

Job Responsibility:

  • Mentor/lead developers, consultants, operational team members in adoption of DevOps/automation.
  • Assist DevOps leadership with determining and developing quality, automated delivery pipelines with the mantra of “Doing it Right”.
  • Contribute to DevOps best practices design including naming standards, modular and adaptable processes.
  • Address escalation and bug fixes.
  • Monitor technical operations and infrastructure activity for opportunities to improve and refine processes.
  • Promote knowledge transfer/education by contributing and updating wiki-based documentation.
  • Must have strong communications skills and must be able to work independently and efficiently.
  • Meet challenges with resourcefulness.
  • Deploying security measures, performing vulnerability assessment and risk management in Kubernetes.
  • Managing pre/post release code merges.
  • Managing the code branching strategies
  • Proactively look for ways to automate the installation and upkeep of build tools and dependencies.
