Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Senior Specialist Java Developer to join our team at navaera-worldwide. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Java-based applications.

Main Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications that meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
  • Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, ensuring efficient code and timely delivery.
  • Write testable, scalable, and efficient code that adheres to best practices.
  • Debug and troubleshoot applications and updates to ensure seamless functionality.
  • Maintain up-to-date code documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to company standards and best practices.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Technical Requirements

  • Programming: Proficiency in Java (1.8+) with strong understanding of object-oriented design principles.
  • Java EE Technologies: Experience with Servlets, JSP, SOAP & RESTful Web Services.
  • Frameworks: Familiarity with Spring MVC, Spring Integration, Hibernate ORM.
  • Frontend Technologies: Knowledge of JavaScript, CSS frameworks (Bootstrap, etc.).
  • Troubleshooting & Debugging: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Object-Oriented Design: Understanding of design principles and best practices.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Experience with integration frameworks such as ActiveMQ, Metro-based Web Services, Secure Socket-based Communications, and Web Service Security.
  • Working knowledge of Apache HTTPD server, Tomcat, Glassfish.
  • Experience with Java-based search frameworks like Lucene, Solr, or ElasticSearch.
