Responsibilities

  • Utilize Fusion 360 software to design and develop mechanical components and systems.
  • Design aluminium parts for CNC machining, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Create detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation for manufacturing processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality control, and product development to ensure designs meet requirements.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for proposed designs.
  • Optimize designs for performance, manufacturability, and cost efficiency.
  • Perform sheet metal design for various applications, including enclosures, brackets, and assemblies.
  • Oversee fabrication processes and provide support throughout production to ensure adherence to design specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve design and manufacturing issues as they arise.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in mechanical design.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 2+ years' of industry experience
  • Proficiency in Fusion 360
  • Strong understanding of aluminium parts design for CNC machining.
  • Experience in sheet metal design and fabrication techniques.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Prior experience in project management is a plus.
