Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor QA/QC procedures as per contract specifications and standards issued by Railway and Metro authorities (RVNL, DFCCIL, IRCON, etc.
Supervise and manage all quality control activities for:
- Earthworks, bridges, viaducts, station buildings, tracks (ballasted and ballast-less), and structures.
- Conduct material inspections, witness lab and field tests, and verify material mix designs.
- Monitor workmanship and ensure compliance with project quality plans.
- Prepare and maintain all quality records, including test reports, calibration records, and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
- Coordinate with client/PMC representatives for inspections, approvals, and audits.
- Lead and train QA/QC engineers, laboratory staff, subcontractors, and site teams in adherence to Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Ensure strict compliance with IRC, IRS, RDSO, and IS Codes.
- Support project management in resolving any quality-related issues or & Competencies Required
- Strong working knowledge of RDSO, IRC, and IRS standards.- Proficient in ISO 9001:2015 QMS implementation and compliance.
Hands-on experience in:
- Concrete and steel QA/QC
- Welding inspection
- Track laying QA/QC
- Bridge and structural QA/QC
- Excellent documentation, reporting, and record-keeping skills.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities to liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams
