Senior Software Engineer

Join as a Senior Software Engineer (Python) to enhance the quality, reliability, and performance of our B2B applications.

Work with Python, Django, Celery, PostgreSQL, and Redis while improving observability, refactoring code, and collaborating with an agile team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve backend services/APIs (Python 3.x, Django, Celery, PostgreSQL, Redis)
• Implement Prometheus metrics, Grafana dashboards, and structured logging
• Write maintainable, well-documented, tested code (PyTest, mocks, test factories)
• Champion continuous improvement of performance, reliability and security
• Collaborate in design/code reviews, pair programming, and agile ceremonies

Requirements

• 5+ years backend engineering, 3+ years Python/Django
• Production experience with Celery distributed task queues, PostgreSQL, and Redis caching
• Deep understanding of API design across gRPC, REST and GraphQL, including schema versioning and backward compatibility
• Hands-on skills in writing unit, integration, and contract tests that run in CI/CD pipelines
• Prometheus metrics, distributed tracing (e.g., OpenTelemetry), structured logging, and Grafana dashboards
• Comfortable with profiling code, analyzing SQL query plans, and tuning performance in production
• Experience working in cloud‑native environments (e.g., Docker, GitHub Actions)
• Bonus points for familiarity with TypeScript, Golang, or e‑commerce domain knowledge
