The company's head office is in Pennsylvania, USA, with a regional office in Belgium.URL:https://centrak.com/Position Objective We are looking for an experienced Lead AI/ML Engineer with a strong background in web development to drive the design, development, and deployment of intelligent applications. The ideal candidate will lead AI/ML initiatives, mentor teams, and integrate AI models into scalable web platforms. As a Lead Engineer, you will play an important role in system architecture, design, development and ensuring the products meet high quality standards and guiding other development team members.Responsibilities (KRAs / deliverables / job expectations) Lead the development and integration ofAI/ML modelsinto web applications. Architect and optimizeAI-driven web solutionsusing frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn etc. Oversee the deployment of AI models usingcloud services(AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Collaborate withcross-functional teamsto define AI strategies and implementation. Guide the development ofscalable web applicationsusingAngular, C#, NestJSetc. Ensureefficient data processingand model deployment in production environments. Optimize AI models forperformance, accuracy, and scalability . Stay updated withthe latest AI/ML trendsand web development technologies. Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of innovation.Critical Success factors (critical / high impact aspects of role) Strong expertise inmachine learning algorithmsanddeep learning frameworks . Proficiency inPython, JavaScript, and web development frameworks . Experience withRESTful APIs, cloud computing, and database management . Familiarity withMLOps toolsfor automating machine learning workflows. Understanding offrontend and backend developmentfor AI-powered applications. Ability to work withlarge datasetsand optimize AI models for production.Academic qualification Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, AI, or related fields.Experience (exposure) 10+ years of overall Software development experience and 6+ years of experience in AI/ML software development.Key attributes (critical functional competencies) Experience inAI-driven web applications, edge devicesandcloud-based AI services . Experience in thehealthcare industryandRTLSis desirable.
