Role: AEM/ CQ5 Developer.

Locations : BLR/HYD/GGN/NDA/KOCHI/BBSR.

Required Technical Skill Set :


- At-least 4 years of experience in AEM technologies.

- Strong knowledge on AEM Backend development.

- Strong knowledge on creating workflows,.

- Event Listeners, OSGI Services, Components. and Servlets.

- Good understanding of OSGI, Felix Console.

Must-Have :

- Ideally should not be more than 3-5

- At-least 4 years of experience in AEM technologies.

- Strong knowledge on AEM Backend development.

- Strong knowledge on creating workflows, Event Listeners, OSGI Services, Components and Servlets.

- Good understanding of OSGI, Felix Console.

- At-least 3 years of strong Web Content Management.

- Experience with Adobe AEM / CQ5, implementing 2+ full cycle AEM projects.

- Solid experience with CQ5 building blocks including templates, components, dialogs, widgets and bundles.

- Experience on Java Content Repository (API) suite, Sling web framework and Apache Felix OSGi framework, DAM Workflows is required.

- Experience with integrating AEM/CQ5 with other products and vendors specifically targeting Social Integrations.

- Experience with Continuous Integration and Automated. test execution and building tools such as Jenkins, Hudson, Selenium or Maven.

Good-to-Have :

- Excellent Written and Communication Skills and team player.

- Familiarity with Tag & script management using Adobe DTM.

- Familiarity with A/B Testing and Adobe Target.

- Experience in developing highly available, heavy traffic customer facing websites is a plus.


- Prior Apple experience is a strong plus.

Overview :

The AEM/CQ5 Developer plays a crucial role in the organization, responsible for developing, implementing, and supporting AEM/CQ5-based applications.

They collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of AEM/CQ5 solutions.

Key Responsibilities.

- Design and develop AEM/CQ5 components, templates, dialogs, and workflows as per the requirements.

- Integrate AEM/CQ5 with various applications and systems using technologies such as Java, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

- Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.

- Create and maintain technical documentation related to AEM/CQ5 development.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand the business requirements, and translate them into technical solutions within AEM/CQ5.

- Optimize and enhance the performance of AEM/CQ5-based applications.

- Customize and extend AEM/CQ5-based solutions to meet specific business needs.

- Ensure the adherence to best practices and development standards in AEM/CQ5 development.

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

- Stay updated with the latest AEM/CQ5 features and upgrades, and evaluate their applicability to the existing systems.
