We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, fitting, and maintaining mechanical components and structures in line with technical specifications. This role requires hands-on expertise, precision, and the ability to work independently as well as in coordination with the team to ensure quality and timely completion of tasks.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical instructions.
  

• Assemble, fit, and install machine parts and structural components according to specifications.
  

• Perform cutting, grinding, drilling, and shaping of metal parts as required.
  

• Conduct inspections to ensure assembled parts meet dimensional accuracy and quality standards.
  

• Identify and rectify defects, misalignments, or wear and tear in mechanical parts.
  

• Maintain and repair tools, equipment, and machines used for fitting tasks.
  

• Ensure adherence to workplace safety standards and proper use of PPE.
  

• Work closely with supervisors and colleagues to meet project deadlines and production goals.
  

• Keep workstations organized, clean, and compliant with operational protocols.
  

• ITI/Diploma in Fitter Trade or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
  

• Proven work experience of 1 to 3 years as a Fitter in a manufacturing/industrial setup.
  

• Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
  

• Familiarity with tools, equipment, and measuring instruments used in fitting work.
  

• Strong technical and mechanical aptitude.
  

• Hands-on skills in fabrication, assembly, and maintenance tasks.
  

• Good understanding of welding, drilling, and cutting processes.
  

• Ability to use measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  

• Problem-solving skills to identify and fix fitting or alignment issues.
  

• Good physical stamina and ability to handle manual labor in an industrial environment.
  

• Teamwork and communication skills to work effectively with supervisors and co-workers.
