Job Title:Legal ExecutiveLocation:Mumbai, Maharashtra (with travel as needed across India) CTC:₹2.5 – ₹3.5 LPA (based on experience and performance) Employment Type:Full-time (On-site, Mumbai) Department: Legal Role OverviewWe are seeking aLegal Executivewho can handle Rentkar’s legal affairs across India. The role involves drafting legal notices, managing defaulter cases, filing police complaints, attending hearings, and setting up processes for smoother coordination across branches. This is a hands-on position suited for someone confident in both field and documentation work.Key ResponsibilitiesDraft legal notices, warning letters, and agreements related to rentals and recoveries. Communicate with defaulters and negotiate settlements where applicable. File police complaints and coordinate with local authorities for asset recovery. File online complaints on relevant government portals. Identify and coordinate with lawyers across India for case handling. Attend court hearings on scheduled dates and ensure punctual follow-ups. Maintain detailed records of notices, cases, and hearing updates. Build streamlined internal legal communication processes for all branches.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B) from a recognized university. 2–4 years of experience in corporate, compliance, or litigation roles. Sound knowledge of Indian Penal Code, Civil Procedures, and Consumer Protection Laws. Experience dealing with police authorities and filing complaints/FIRs. Excellent drafting and communication skills in English and Hindi. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Proficiency with MS Office and government legal filing portals.
