Role OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Functional Tester to validate and ensure the quality of enterprise solutions built on Microsoft Power BI, Data Engineering pipelines, Power Apps, and Dynamics CRM. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of business processes, and experience in testing data-driven applications.Key Responsibilities- Test Planning & Design - Understand business requirements and translate them into comprehensive test scenarios. - Develop functional test cases for Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models. - Design test cases for Power Apps workflows and Dynamics CRM functionalities. - Execution & Validation - Perform functional, regression, and integration testing across BI and CRM platforms. - Validate data accuracy, transformations, and integrity in data engineering pipelines. - Ensure compliance with business rules and user experience standards. - Defect Management - Log, track, and verify defects using standard tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira). - Collaborate with developers and business analysts to resolve issues promptly. - Documentation & Reporting - Maintain detailed test documentation and provide clear status reports. - Prepare test summary reports and sign-off documents for releases.Required Skills & Qualifications- Technical Skills - Hands-on experience in testing Microsoft Power BI dashboards and data models. - Familiarity with ETL/Data Engineering processes and SQL for data validation. - Working knowledge of Power Apps and Dynamics CRM functionalities. - Understanding of API testing and integration points between systems. - Testing Expertise - Strong knowledge of functional testing methodologies and best practices. - Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems. - Soft Skills - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.Preferred Qualifications- Exposure to Azure Data Services (Data Factory, Synapse). - ISTQB or equivalent testing certification.Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
