We're Hiring: Network Design Engineer – Broadband ServicesLocation: Chennai |Hybrid Role – Mandatory office presence on 1st & 3rd Mondays for Sprint PlanningExperience Required: 8–14 YearsKey Skills: Nokia 7750, Carrier-Grade Network Design, IP Routing/Switching, Fortigate, Python, GITWhat You’ll Do:- Author High-Level and Low-Level Design Documents to support Sky’s network infrastructure. - Own software/hardware selection, perform bug scrubs, security assessments, and collaborate with Test & Delivery teams. - Drive platform improvements, enable automation, and implement scalable DevOps solutions. - Design carrier-grade network solutions aligned with Sky’s standards. - Work closely with stakeholders to elicit business and technical requirements. - Steer network security roadmap in collaboration with strategic technology partners.What You’ll Bring:✅ Must-Have Skills:- Experience working in Telco/Carrier environments (mobile, security, infrastructure). - Strong hands-on experience with Nokia 7750 and Next-Gen Firewalls (Fortigate). - Deep knowledge of IP Routing/Switching: ISIS, MPLS, RSVP, TE, Hierarchical QoS, LACP, BGP. - Proven ability to produce HLDs, LLDs, technical diagrams, and project documentation. - Strong understanding of reliability, availability, longevity, and commercial aspects of network design. - Excellent communication skills for risk management, stakeholder updates, and escalation handling.Nice-to-Have Skills:- Familiarity with Python & GIT for automation and configuration management. - Exposure to F5 LTM/GTM or other load balancing technologies. - Knowledge of Mobile 5G technologies.DM me or share your updated resume at arunprasad.ext@capgemini.com
