The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of extensive experience in tendering and proposal preparation, with a strong background in Mechanical / Chemical / Process engineering and a deep understanding of pipeline estimation. Candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for various Oil & Gas Pipeline Projects, working closely with engineering, procurement, and project management teams. Key Responsibilities: Estimate Preparation:Develop detailed and accurate cost estimates for pipeline projects, including materials, labour, and overhead costs. Tendering and Proposals:Lead the preparation of tenders and proposals, ensuring all technical and commercial aspects are covered and aligned with client requirements. Cost Analysis:Perform cost analysis and value engineering to identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance project profitability. Bid Management:Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data and information for bid preparation and submission. Market Research:Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, material costs, and labor rates. Also analyze competitors bidding/costing. Client Interaction:Engage with clients and stakeholders to clarify requirements, address queries, and ensure all aspects of the project are understood. Risk Assessment:Identify potential risks and uncertainties in project estimates and propose mitigation strategies. Documentation:Maintain comprehensive records of all estimates, proposals, and supporting documentation. Continuous Improvement:Contribute to process improvements and best practices in estimating and tendering processes. Also belief in First Time Right.Competencies: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Eye for detail. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with clients, vendors, and internal teams. Networking. Proficiency in estimation software and tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project, etc.) Experience in International and Domestic Projects and understanding of global procurement practices. Knowledge of industry standards and regulations relevant to Oil & Gas process plants Familiarity with advanced cost estimation techniques and software
