About the Role :

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer with a strong background in Python development and expertise in Snowflake data warehousing technology. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines and APIs that support our data-driven applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with cloud infrastructure on AWS and be proficient in working with relational and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL and MongoDB. If you thrive in solving complex data challenges and enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams, this role is a perfect fit.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, test, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines and APIs using Python, leveraging frameworks such as Flask and FastAPI.

- Design and implement Snowflake data warehouse solutions, including architecture planning, deployment, and integration with various data sources.

- Work closely with data engineers, data analysts, and product teams to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.

- Optimize SQL queries and database performance on Snowflake, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.

- Manage cloud infrastructure using AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, RDS, and S3 for seamless deployment and operation of data applications.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex data-related issues, ensuring data integrity and security.

- Collaborate in code reviews, design discussions, and Agile ceremonies to continuously improve software quality and delivery.

- Utilize Visual Studio Code for development, debugging, and maintaining a clean, well-documented codebase.

- Write clear technical documentation and communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in data engineering, cloud computing, and software development.

Required Qualifications :

Programming : Strong proficiency in Python with experience in web frameworks such as Flask and Expertise : Hands-on experience with Snowflake data warehouse architecture, deployment, and data : Solid experience working with PostgreSQL and MongoDB, including schema design, query optimization, and data Infrastructure : Familiarity with AWS cloud services (Lambda, EC2, RDS, S3) for building and managing cloud-based Tools : Proficient in using Visual Studio Code or similar IDEs for software development and : Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and implement effective : Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present technical information & Independence : Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and contribute effectively within a team Pipelines & APIs : Experience designing, building, and optimizing scalable data pipelines and RESTful APIs.
