Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of IT Delivery to lead our project deliveries across all departments of our business and responsible for overseeing the successful and timely delivery of all our projects in a highly demanding fast-paced environment, ensuring the alignment with IT initiatives with business objectives, and driving the technological advancement of our company. As an ideal candidate for the Head of IT Delivery position, you are a team player with a get-it-done attitude, can articulate with the executive teams at business level as well as have an eye for details to have detailed technology level conversations with the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Requires strong leadership, an eye for details, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams as well as all stake-holders.
  • Manage all aspects of IT and software development to meet company goals.
  • Collaborate with the Head of IT and leadership team to set and prioritize IT management and production goals.
  • Develop and manage budgets for IT operations, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource optimization.
  • Oversee data security, management, and governance, maintaining high standards for information integrity and confidentiality.
  • Allocate IT resources effectively, setting goals/KPIs and evaluating performance.
  • Make informed decisions on infrastructure, prioritizing technical excellence, security, and scalability.
  • Oversee the development and deployment of all technical, web, and mobile services, including website development, maintenance, and new software solutions integrating and building AI/ML and APIs.
  • Manage the development teams working on multiple technologies across data, AI/ML, LLM, integration, automation, and analytics.
  • Be the technology champion for customers and provide greater contribution to develop and implement delivery strategies, methodologies, and best practices to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Leverages business acumen and subject matter expertise.
  • Works across the organization and maintains/builds strong working relationships based on experiences/past interactions.
  • Prioritize and plan complex tasks and deliver with consistent updates without follow-up.
  • Participate in management meetings and present high-level achievements, challenges, and roadmaps. Articulate well for growth and mitigate custom escalations.
  • Work with project teams to implement best development practices and pay attention to details on design, technologies, and pitfalls. Ensures Quality and transparency is built at every level.
  • Mentor directs and coaches them to be better leaders and successful technologists.
  • Implement organization’s policies consistently across your teams and identify star performers.
  • Demonstrate punctuality, commitment, proactive communication and quality every time across your meetings, deliveries and achievements.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in IT, minimum 7 years of experience in leadership roles with a proven track record in leading design and software delivery teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work across time zones and coordinate with the headquarters in the USA (Central Time Zone).
  • Ability to inspire and motivate those that you manage at a high level while also able to get into the weeds and write code as needed.
  • Expertise in modern software development methodologies and tools, including AI/Machine Learning integrations.
  • Experience in Agile Methodology like SCRUM, CI/CD, Automation and Selenium. Project Management methodology certification (Scrum Master, PMP, PRINCE2) is an advantage.
  • Grown from the development ranks to Delivery. Technically expert in Python, PHP React.js, DB, Open-Source Technologies.
  • Hands-on experience working in Cloud environments like AWS/Azure/GCP.
  • Good knowledge of AI/ML and data analytics.
  • Excellent understanding, and proven record of complex technology and business solutions in a client-facing environment.
  • Client relationship management experience and managing multiple clients/projects
  • Experience in the corporate customer environment, understand the power of persuasion, influencing and a high-level understanding of business processes related to various markets. Strong social skills, written and verbal.
  • Enjoying working in a dynamic organization which is continuously transforming and enjoy enterprise visibility and industry.
  • Holds expert-level experience and uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.
  • Significant experience leading the Technical Delivery of Enterprise Data management projects.
