Job Description: SEO Specialist (1-3 Years Experience)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SEO Specialist with a proven track record of driving organic growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of both on-page and off-page optimization techniques and be proficient in using industry-standard tools such as Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics. With 1-3 years of experience, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective SEO strategies to improve our website's visibility, drive traffic, and increase conversions.

Responsibilities:

Technical SEO:

  • Conduct comprehensive website audits to identify and resolve technical SEO issues (e.g., crawl errors, site speed, mobile-friendliness, schema markup).
  • Optimize website structure, internal linking, and XML sitemaps.
  • Implement and manage robots.txt and .htaccess files.

On-Page Optimization:

  • Perform in-depth keyword research and analysis to identify relevant search terms.
  • Optimize website content, including meta descriptions, title tags, header tags, and body copy.
  • Develop and implement content strategies to improve search engine rankings.
  • Ensure content is relevant, engaging, and aligned with user intent.

Off-Page Optimization:

  • Develop and execute link-building strategies to acquire high-quality backlinks.
  • Conduct competitor analysis to identify link-building opportunities.
  • Monitor and manage online reputation and brand mentions.
  • Manage local SEO profiles, and optimize google my business profiles.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Utilize Google Analytics and Google Search Console to track and analyze website performance.
  • Generate regular reports on key SEO metrics (e.g., organic traffic, keyword rankings, conversion rates).
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Proficient in Ahrefs for backlink analysis, keyword research, and competitive analysis.

Staying Updated:

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices.
  • Continuously research and experiment with new SEO techniques.
  • Document all findings and strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in SEO.
  • Strong understanding of on-page and off-page optimization techniques.
  • Proficiency in using Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.  
  • Experience with Local SEO is a plus.
  • Experience with E-commerce SEO is a plus.
