Job Title: L2 Support Engineer (Field Support)Location: MumbaiWork Mode: Onsite / Field SupportJob Summary:The L2 Support Engineer will be responsible for field support, implementation, and troubleshooting of IT infrastructure environments, including virtualization platforms, server hardware, operating systems, and network devices.Key Responsibilities:- Install, configure, and troubleshoot VMware ESXi hosts and clusters.- Manage VMware vCenter and Microsoft Hyper-V environments.- Configure VMware HA, DRS, vMotion, and related clustering technologies.- Install and troubleshoot Cisco switches, VLANs, and basic networking.- Administer Windows Server environments including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies.- Install, configure, and manage Linux systems.- Perform server hardware installation and RAID configuration.- Provide support for Windows 10/11 client systems.- Work with backup solutions for backup and restore operations (if required).- Document configurations and provide field support reports to clients.Must-Have Skills:- Hands-on experience with VMware and Hyper-V.- Knowledge of vCenter and virtualization cluster configurations.- Experience with Cisco switch configuration.- Strong understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy Management.- Linux administration experience.- Server hardware installation and RAID setup.- Client OS troubleshooting (Windows 10/11).Good to Have:- Experience with backup software like Veeam, Commvault, Veritas, Acronis, etc.- Basic scripting using PowerShell or Bash.Candidate Profile:- Around 10 years of relevant field or L2 support experience.- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.- Willingness to travel to client locations within Mumbai.
