Webmethods Developer

Job Description :

As a WebMethods Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing integration solutions using Software AG's webMethods platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in webMethods development, with expertise in integration technologies and a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement integration solutions using webMethods platform.

- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.

- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and design documents.

- Develop and maintain webMethods components such as adapters, triggers, and services.

- Configure and optimize integration processes to ensure performance and scalability.

- Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.

- Document technical designs, implementation details, and best practices.

- Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and team members.

- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in integration and middleware.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- 4+ years of experience in webMethods development.

- Proficiency in webMethods Integration Server, Broker, and Universal Messaging.

- Strong understanding of integration concepts and technologies such as EAI, ESB, and SOA.

- Experience with web services, XML, JSON, and RESTful APIs.

- Knowledge of SQL and database concepts (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.).

- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Software AG Certified webMethods Developer (CWM) certification.

- Experience with webMethods BPM and/or API Gateway.

- Knowledge of cloud integration platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Experience with DevOps tools and practices (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Docker).
