Job Overview:

We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Equity Trader to join our team. You'll be responsible for executing advanced index options strategies, analyzing market dynamics, and managing risk effectively.

This role requires a professional with a proven track record from an institutional or proprietary trading firm, capable of leading a small team and contributing to sophisticated trading operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute and manage complex index options strategies, including Iron Fly, Iron Condor, and Calendar Spreads (Nifty, Bank Nifty, etc.

- Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, volatility, and price movements to identify trading opportunities and optimize trade execution.

- Implement robust risk management techniques and effectively hedge positions to mitigate potential losses.

- Lead and mentor a team of 8-10 traders, providing guidance on strategy, execution, and risk management.

- Contribute to the development and refinement of proprietary trading models and strategies.

- Ensure all trading activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 4 to 6 years of experience in options trading within an institutional or proprietary trading firm.

- Self-traders/retail traders will not be considered.

- NISM Series VIII Equity Derivatives certification is mandatory.

- Proven hands-on experience with strategies such as Iron Fly, Iron Condor, and Calendar Spreads in index options.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and make quick, informed trading decisions.

- Excellent understanding of risk management principles in derivatives trading.

- Demonstrated leadership potential with the ability to manage and motivate a trading team.
