MDM Data Steward

We are looking for an experienced MDM Data Steward with strong hands-on expertise in Informatica MDM. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and quality across enterprise systems, while collaborating closely with business and technical teams to define and enforce data governance standards.Key Responsibilities- Act as the primary owner for Master Data Management (MDM) governance and data quality processes. - Manage, analyze, and validate master data across multiple domains (Customer, Product, Vendor, etc.). - Maintain and improve data quality rules, match/merge logic, and survivorship rules. - Work closely with data owners, business users, and IT teams to ensure proper data governance and adherence to standards. - Identify data quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions. - Support MDM system configurations in Informatica MDM including trust rules, match rules, and hierarchy management. - Participate in data remediation activities and support ongoing MDM operations. - Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, and data governance frameworks. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams during integration, migration, and transformation projects. - Prepare and maintain documentation related to data definitions, data flows, processes, and governance standards.Required Skills & Qualifications- 3–10 years of total experience with at least 3+ years in Informatica MDM/Reltio as a Data Steward. - Strong understanding of MDM concepts — match/merge, trust & validation rules, IDD, data domains, hierarchies. - Experience working with Informatica MDM Hub, IDD, ActiveVOS, and data quality tools. - Hands-on experience in data quality, profiling, cleansing, and validation. - Strong SQL skills for data analysis and validation. - Experience working with cross-functional teams including business, data engineering, and QA. - Good understanding of data governance practices and metadata management. - Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills. - Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.Preferred Qualifications- Experience in cloud environments (AWS / Azure / GCP). - Exposure to Informatica Data Quality (IDQ). - Experience in enterprise-scale digital transformation or migration projects. - Strong domain knowledge in BFSI, Retail, Healthcare, or Manufacturing.
