Job Title: iOS SDET – Medical Device Testing Experience: 5+ Years Location: Bangalore Job Description: We are seeking a highly skillediOS Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)with a strong background inmedical device testing . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience inautomated testing for iOS applicationsusingXCTest/XCUITest with SwiftorAppium with Kotlin , and a passion for delivering high-quality, reliable software in a regulated environment. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintainautomated test frameworksand test cases for iOS applications in the medical device domain. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, QA engineers, and product managers to define test strategies and ensure product quality. Performfunctional, regression, integration, and system testing . Ensure compliance withmedical device regulatory standards(e.g., FDA, ISO 13485). Analyze test results, identify root causes, and drive issues to resolution. Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes. Required Skills: 5+ years of experience inSoftware Testingwith a focus oniOS applications . Proficiency inXCTest/XCUITest with SwiftorAppium with Kotlin . Strong understanding ofiOS architecture ,UI automation , andmobile testing best practices . Experience inmedical device testingor working in aregulated industry . Familiarity withCI/CD pipelinesand tools like Jenkins, Git, or similar. Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Good to Have: Knowledge ofregulatory standardssuch asFDA 21 CFR Part 11 ,ISO 13485 , orIEC 62304 . Experience withtest management toolslike TestRail, Zephyr, or similar. Exposure tocloud-based testing platforms(e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs). Understanding ofBluetooth, BLE , orIoT protocolsused in medical devices. Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
