Product Development Lead

Job Summary: We are looking for an innovative and proactive Product Development Lead to drive new product formulation, development, and delivery innovations in the field of functional medicine and nutraceuticals. The ideal candidate will stay aligned with emerging trends in form factors, ingredients, and functional health solutions, while leading end-to-end development from concept to launch. Key Responsibilities: Lead the research, formulation, and development of new products in functional medicine and nutraceutical categories. Stay updated with the latest advancements in form factors (powders, capsules, gummies, beverages, etc.) and novel functional ingredients. Drive innovation in product delivery systems, ensuring efficacy, bioavailability, and consumer convenience. Work closely with internal teams (R&D, Marketing, Quality, Manufacturing) to translate concepts into market-ready products. Conduct feasibility studies, stability trials, and ensure compliance with FSSAI and regulatory standards. Evaluate raw materials, suppliers, and emerging technologies for product enhancement. Maintain thorough documentation for formulation processes, trials, regulatory needs, and scale-up activities. Provide technical leadership and ensure products meet quality, safety, and performance benchmarks. Constantly monitor market trends, consumer insights, and competitor products to guide innovation.Required Qualifications & Skills: Graduation in Food Technology, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Functional Medicine, or related fields (Master’s preferred). Proven expertise in product formulation and development for nutraceutical or functional medicine products. Strong understanding of nutraceutical ingredients, functional foods, and wellness-focused formulations. Ability to lead innovation in product delivery systems and create differentiated solutions. Knowledge of regulatory and quality standards applicable to nutraceuticals and functional foods. Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple development projects simultaneously.
