Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly experienced and meticulous Senior Project Engineer to join ourteam. The ideal candidate will have 12-15 years of experience in the real estatedevelopment sector, with a strong focus on quality monitoring, quantity auditing, andproject supervision. The Senior Project Engineer will be responsible for overseeing thetechnical aspects of our projects from inception to completion, ensuring all work is executedto the highest standards, on time, and within budget.Key Responsibilities• Project Supervision and Management:o Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring projectsadhere to approved plans, specifications, and quality standards.o Coordinate with architects, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors toensure seamless project execution.o Supervise junior engineers and on-site staff, providing guidance and technicalsupport.o Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensurecompliance with safety regulations.• Quality Monitoring and Assurance:o Implement and manage a robust quality control program throughout allphases of the project.o Perform regular inspections and quality audits to ensure all materials andworkmanship meet or exceed industry standards.o Document and address any non-conforming work, ensuring timely andeffective corrective actions.o Maintain detailed records of all quality assurance activities, includinginspection reports and test results.• Quantity Auditing and Cost Control:o Conduct regular quantity audits to verify the materials used and workcompleted by contractors.o Review and approve contractor bills and payment requests based on auditedquantities and project progress.o Monitor project costs and budgets, identifying potential cost overruns andrecommending corrective measures.o Collaborate with the finance and procurement teams to manage projectexpenditures.Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.• 12-15 years of experience in project engineering, with a significant portion in thereal estate development industry.• Proven expertise in quality control and assurance, quantity surveying, and sitesupervision.• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) andCAD software (e.g., AutoCAD).Skills and Competencies• Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of civil engineering principles andconstruction practices.• Attention to Detail: Meticulous in monitoring quality and auditing quantities.• Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate project teams and manage complexstakeholder relationships.• Problem-Solving: Proactive and effective in identifying and resolving on-sitechallenges.• Integrity: High level of professional integrity and ethical conduct.
