We are seeking a skilled and innovative Guidewire Portal Developer to join our team. As a Guidewire Portal Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining portals and user interfaces that enhance the overall user experience for our clients and stakeholders. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate portals with Guidewire insurance platforms, ensuring a seamless and efficient user interaction.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Guidewire Portal Development:

- React Skills

- Design and develop user interfaces, portals, and web applications that integrate seamlessly with Guidewire insurance platforms.

- Jutro framework

- Edge capabilities

- Customize and enhance portal functionality to meet business requirements and improve user experience.

2. Front-End Development:

- Implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces using modern web development technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript).

- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimal performance for all portal components.

3. Integration with Guidewire Platforms:

- Collaborate with Guidewire Policy Center, Billing Center, and Claim Center developers to integrate portal solutions with the core insurance systems.

- Implement APIs and connectors to facilitate data exchange between portals and Guidewire applications.

4. User Experience (UX) Design:

- Work closely with UX designers to ensure the design and layout of portals align with best practices for usability and accessibility.

- Implement and enhance user interface components for a visually appealing and user-friendly experience.

5. Collaboration and Communication:

- Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand portal requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.

6. Testing and Quality Assurance:

- Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans for portal components.

- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to identify and address any issues or defects.

7. Documentation:

- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, user guides, and release notes.

- Contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives within the development team.


Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a Guidewire Portal Developer or Front-End Developer with expertise in web application development.

- Proficient in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js).

- Experience with integration technologies and API development.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

- Having Guidewire Ace or Specilist Certification is mandatory

- Familiarity with Guidewire Policy Center, Billing Center, or Claim Center.

- Knowledge of insurance industry processes and practices.

- Experience with responsive design and mobile application development.

- Understanding of user experience (UX) design principles.
