About the Role - The ideal candidate will have a strong sales and leadership background, with experience in managing teams and building relationships with key industry influencers. They should be results-driven, strategic, and skilled in developing channel strategies and managing sales metrics. Excellent communication, market insight, and the ability to generate a solid project pipeline are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve Sales & Collection Targets for the region as budgeted.
  • Lead and motivate the Sales & BD team to achieve targets as assigned
  • Maintain the ASP and DSO as per the Budget plan for the region
  • Establish & Maintain relationships with key influencers such as Architects, Designers, Engineers, Developers, MEP/PHE consultants, plumbing contractors, etc
  • Establish and manage the optimal channel strategy, in accordance with corporate and regional sales goals, programs and policies.
  • Educate the market and ensure stringent specifications
  • Provide insights on regional sales trends, sales potentials, competition and economic/business conditions and distributors' purchase/sales penetration performance.
  • Generate a strong and sustainable project funnel to secure both short as well as long term goals of the Organization.
  • Participate in relationship building industry events, trade shows, associations, affiliations etc. Follow up on all leads generated that apply all relevant stakeholders
  • Attend and participate in Company sales meeting and trade or industry meetings, shows and conventions to increase knowledge of Sloan plumbing products, improve selling techniques and cultivate good working relationships with distributors and product users.
  • Perform any assignments given by the company.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors / Master's degree (or equivalent) in engineering, sales, marketing, business or related discipline required.
  • At least 8 years of sales experience in architectural project specifications and sales in building material industry sales with documented evidence of high performance
  • Organized, disciplined and a self-starter.
  • Must have strong fundamental management skills such as presentation skills, business acumen, leadership skills, negotiation skills, conceptual and analytical skills, financial aptitude, interpersonal effectiveness, and decisiveness.
