Job Summary Estarta is seeking a highly skilledDatacenter Network Engineerto join our global team supporting Cisco. This role is best suited for professionals with deep expertise inCisco Nexus technologiesand a proven ability to design, optimize, and secure large-scale enterprise datacenter networks. As a key technical contributor, you will be responsible for ensuringnetwork resiliency, scalability, and operational efficiencyin complex environments, while driving innovation throughautomation and modern datacenter practices .Key Responsibilities Design, deploy, and manageadvanced datacenter networking solutions built on Cisco Nexus platforms (NX-OS, Nexus 5K/7K; Nexus 9K exposure is a plus). Configure and troubleshootadvanced Cisco datacenter technologies, including: Virtual Port Channel (vPC)for high availability and load balancing Overlay Transport Virtualization (OTV)for Layer 2 extension FabricPathfor scalable and resilient Layer 2 networking Ensurecontinuous availability, security, and performanceof datacenter network infrastructure. Performcapacity planning, proactive monitoring, and performance optimization . Leverageautomation and scripting (Python preferred)to streamline operations, reduce manual intervention, and enhance operational consistency. Actively contribute toincident management, root cause analysis, and change control processes . Maintaincomprehensive technical documentation , including network topology, configurations, and operational procedures. Collaborate withcross-functional engineering teamsto align solutions with enterprise standards and best practices.Required Qualifications Strong hands-on expertise withCisco Nexus platforms(NX-OS, Nexus 5K/7K; Nexus 9K desirable). In-depth knowledge ofvPC, OTV, and FabricPathtechnologies. Solid understanding ofLayer 2/3 networking protocols, datacenter topologies, and enterprise-class environments . Proficiency inPython scriptingor equivalent programming for automation and network optimization. CCIE Datacenter/Enterprisecertification (preferred) or equivalent extensive real-world experience.Preferred Skills Familiarity withnetwork automation/orchestration tools(e.g., Ansible, Netmiko, Nornir). Knowledge ofnetwork virtualization and emerging datacenter technologies(VXLAN, EVPN, SDN). Experience inclient-facing or managed services rolessupporting mission-critical environments. Strongdocumentation, communication, and collaboration skills . Ability towork independently and effectively across global, distributed teams .
