This role involves working closely with data architects, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure reliable, efficient, and secure data solutions for analytics, reporting, and operational needs.Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Matillion to move and transform data into Snowflake for analytics and reporting. - Create and optimize SQL queries, views, and stored procedures on Snowflake. Performance tuning for query execution & warehouse usage. - Monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing data workflows (both at Matillion and Snowflake levels). Identify bottlenecks, improve performance and cost efficiency. - Ensure governance, security & access controls in the data platform (Snowflake), and maintain compliance and best practices - Collaborate with stakeholders: translate business requirements into technical specifications; keep documentation updated; ensure things align with business goals.Required Skills & Qualifications- experience in data engineering / analytics / data warehousing. - Strong hands‑on experience with Snowflake: querying, schema design, warehouse sizing & management, cost/performance tuning - Proficiency with Matillion ETL: building orchestration & transformation jobs; - Solid knowledge of SQL (advanced), and scripting / programming skills (Python, or other languages) for automation or custom transformations. - Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) and related services (storage, compute etc.).
